Yoga
Yoga is a verb. Verbs are actions, conditions or experiences. Yoga is a process. It’s active. It’s the way you engage with the world to create harmony. Yoga is how we participate and create relationships.
The process of yoga through physical postures is the most common expression. We can also participate through meditation, breath work or chanting. These are all actionable forms of yoga.
What we are doing in asana is using the postures as a tool to help us pay attention. This is especially valuable for those who struggle with sitting still or who have a difficult time meditating. We move our bodies to pay attention to what is going on within.
Yoga is the process we can engage in to understand our body, the way it moves and the way we use it. We can engage with our mind and understand it, where it habitually goes and how to focus it. We can work with our emotions and notice how we tend to react. Then we can build upon that and bring space, so that we are not just responding to stimuli.

About Doterra
Founded in 2008, doTERRA was built on the mission of sharing tested-grade essential oils with the world. Having seen for themselves the incredible benefits that can be had from using these precious resources, a group of health-care and business professionals set out to make this mission a reality. They formed a company and named it doTERRA, a Latin derivative meaning “Gift of the Earth.”
We use Doterra in practice.
